Legacy Roofing project

Every roof. Six steps. One Legacy standard.

THE TRUE-CARE PROCESS™

Every Legacy roof goes through our True-Care Process™, from the first inspection through final warranty registration and long-term care. That is how we make sure every roof meets The Legacy Roofing Standard™.

Why This Exists

A roofing company is
only as good as the
process behind it.

Most roofers sell you a list of features: a certification here, a warranty there, a promise about cleanup. Individually, none of it is verifiable. Legacy Roofing organized those claims into one process that runs the same way on every job, so the standard is something you can actually hold us to.

Legacy Roofing installs roofs built to be the last roof a homeowner should ever have to buy for that home.

The Legacy Roofing Standard™

We do not build roofs to the minimum standard.
We build every roof to The Legacy Roofing Standard.

The Process · 06 Steps

What actually
happens on
your roof.

Each step carries a promise we make to you and an execution standard our crews are held to. Both are published here, because a standard nobody can check is not a standard.

01Step 01 · Assessment

True Assessment™

We inspect thoroughly, document conditions, identify real concerns, and give honest recommendations.

What that means on your roof

  • A physical roof walk, not a drive-by or a drone flyover
  • Photo documentation of every condition we find
  • Storm-damage review when hail or wind is in play
  • Ventilation and flashing review, not just shingle surface
  • A straight repair-versus-replacement recommendation
Already in placeFree physical inspection with a written, same-day assessment.
02Step 02 · Design

True Design™

We design a complete roofing system, not just a shingle replacement.

What that means on your roof

  • Component selection matched to your roof, not to a price point
  • A ventilation plan sized to your attic
  • Flashing details specified before the crew arrives
  • Underlayment and accessory requirements written into the scope
  • Manufacturer qualification confirmed so the warranty will actually issue
  • Scope reviewed before production begins
Already in placeGAF-qualified system design that unlocks enhanced manufacturer coverage.
03Step 03 · Craftsmanship

True Craftsmanship™

The roof is installed by trained professionals using manufacturer specifications and Legacy Roofing standards.

What that means on your roof

  • W-2 installation crews, not day-labor subcontractors
  • Trained foremen on every job
  • Correct fastening patterns and flashing methods
  • Jobsite supervision throughout installation
  • Safety compliance enforced, not assumed
  • Approved installation methods only
Already in placeEvery installer on your roof is a Legacy Roofing W-2 employee, and most single-family homes are finished in 1–2 days.
04Step 04 · Protection

True Protection™

We protect the home, landscaping, occupants, and property throughout the project.

What that means on your roof

  • Property-protection setup before the first shingle comes off
  • Safe material placement and staging
  • Daily cleanup, not just a final sweep
  • Magnetic nail sweeps of the yard and drive
  • Respectful communication with everyone in the home
  • Controlled jobsite access
Already in placeFull property protection on every job, with debris hauled and swept daily.
05Step 05 · Verification

True Verification™

We inspect, document, and verify the work before calling the roof complete.

What that means on your roof

  • 17-point quality checklist completed on every roof
  • Time-stamped photos of the finished work
  • Permit inspections coordinated and passed
  • Production review before signoff
  • Punch-list items closed out, not deferred
  • Final walkthrough with the homeowner
Already in placeA written, photo-documented punch-out before we leave the property.
06Step 06 · Assurance

True Assurance™

The relationship continues after installation through warranty registration, service, and long-term roof care.

What that means on your roof

  • GAF warranty registered on the spot, not "later"
  • Lifetime workmanship coverage on our installation
  • Complete documentation handed to you for your records
  • StormGuard™ enrollment for free annual roof inspections
  • SmartCheck™ maintenance to keep coverage valid
  • Responsive post-installation support from the same company
Already in placeRegistered GAF warranty, lifetime workmanship coverage, and free annual StormGuard™.

Step 06 · After Installation

The process
doesn't end when
the crew leaves.

True Assurance is the step most roofers skip, because it costs money after the invoice is paid. It is also the step that determines whether your roof is still protected in year twelve.

Registered on Completion

Your GAF warranty is filed when the job closes, not left for you to chase. Unregistered coverage is the single most common reason a manufacturer claim gets denied.

THE TRUE-CARE PROCESS: COMMON QUESTIONS.

What homeowners ask most about how Legacy Roofing runs a project.

The True-Care Process™ is Legacy Roofing’s six-step system for every project: True Assessment, True Design, True Craftsmanship, True Protection, True Verification, and True Assurance. It runs from the first inspection through warranty registration and long-term roof care, and it is how we make sure every roof meets The Legacy Roofing Standard™.

Yes. A repair and a full replacement move through the same six steps. The scope of each step scales to the job, but none of them get skipped. That consistency is what makes the workmanship warranty enforceable.

A Legacy Roofing inspector physically walks your roof rather than flying a drone over it, photographs the conditions found, reviews ventilation and flashing along with the shingle surface, and gives you a straight repair-versus-replacement recommendation in writing. It is free and there is no obligation.

True Verification is documented, not verbal. Every completed roof gets a 17-point quality checklist, time-stamped photos, coordinated permit inspections, a closed punch list, and a final walkthrough with you before we call the job complete.

We register your GAF warranty on completion, back our installation with lifetime workmanship coverage, hand you the full documentation package, and enroll you in StormGuard™ for free annual inspections. The same company that installed the roof is the one that answers the phone later.

No. The six steps describe how Legacy Roofing already operates: W-2 crews, GAF system design, documented inspections, property protection, quality checklists, and registered warranties. Naming the process makes it teachable, measurable, and consistent on every job.
